About Us |
|
In 1974 God gave Harold Wildeson a vision of a ministry in the Duffield area near Chambersburg in South Central Pennsylvania. It was a vision of something more than he could fathom. In the fall of 2002, that vision began to be fulfilled as the first two concerts in the barn took place.
The barn was built in 1844 and was used until 1998 to house their dairy herd and store feed. Many hours of planning and dreaming were invested (along with some good, old-fashioned elbow grease) to bring the barn to what it is today. It has an open ground floor area with seats for approximately 900 people. It’s a place to bring your friends in a laid back informal atmosphere, who might be uncomfortable in a formal church setting. A place to see old friends and a place to make new friends as you are served a light meal, sit around the picnic area and then enjoy a concert in a country setting. setting. |
